Gifa’s Transport offers a new service for those new to Gaborone: security trainings! Most Batswana are friendly people who will welcome you to our beautiful country, but unfortunately there are exceptions. After having been trained in security procedures and 13 years of experience as a cab driver, there is nothing Gifa does not know about security in Gaborone. If you are new to the city and need some guidance on how to stay safe, call in to make an appointment. You will learn which areas to avoid, how to prevent becoming a victim, and how to act if you do find yourself in a dangerous situation.

Driving in Gaborone

Many expats arrive in Botswana with an international driver’s license in their pocket, but with little knowledge of local driving and traffic rules. You can now book driving lessons for expats with Gifa! You will get to practice driving on the left with an experienced, kind and patient driving instructor next to you. Of course we can also provide some guidance regarding insurance and garages if you are buying your own car.
